Welcome to the blog!

I’m Lori Reynolds. I'm a current member of the SCBWI and work in Miami, as a freelance illustrator and designer. My career began in advertising as graphic designer, eventually moving into marketing, training and sales.

Since I’m happiest when doing anything creative, after more than a few years in the "corporate world", I decided it was time to refocus and get back to my first love, art & design.

I still love to get my hands dirty, using pencil, pen, watercolor, gouache, acrylic and whatever inspires me at the moment, but I also enjoy working digitally with the computer. Animals and nature are often subjects for my work, and especially enjoy designing for those who are young at heart.

In no time, you’ll probably discover I’m probably a little too addicted to collecting recipes. Cooking, baking, flea markets, buttons, architecture, along with animals, vintage, interior design, travel (and on and on) are some of my favorite things.
