I promise I'm still here. Somehow, I've been caught up in the holiday whirlwind and it's hard to believe Christmas is just around the corner. Finishing up a few things in the studio, working on new pieces for 2012 and adding a few new things to the shops - here and here - and getting ready for the holiday!

Hope you are enjoying the season wherever you are!

I used my camera phone for these photos. Not a great idea. I'll have to retake them, but thought I'd still share in the meantime.

We had a wonderful weekend. I hope yours was too.

Ours included a couple of dinners out and trip to the mall where we found  Christmas is already on its way in. Having grown up with icy, cold winters, even after all these years, it's still strange to shop for holiday gifts when it's so sunny and warm. This is my favorite time of year here, but I still miss a white Christmas.

Many thanks to those of you who have stopped by and said hello. This "blogging business" is harder than it looks. It's always so fun to know you are out there and hear what you think.

I thought I'd share this beautiful little butterfly with you. I found her resting in my garden, enjoying the greenery and cooler air. Can't say I blame her, fall is one of my favorite seasons too.

Yes, it's true, I love mice...squeeaakk

Look who showed up at my front door...

Posted by PicasaThis tiny Pocket Mouse was made by the very talented Jennifer Murphy of Jennifer Murphy Bears

I've wanted one of her creations for quite some time. As soon as I saw him, I knew he had to come home with me.

Hello...

Well, hello there. Looks like things are finally up and running around here. I'd intended to have more than a brief note to share with you, but I've been making a few more changes to the blog and Etsy shop and got distracted. So this will be short and sweet for now, and I'll be back to share some things with you. Thanks for stopping by!
