We had a wonderful weekend. I hope yours was too.


Ours included a couple of dinners out and trip to the mall where we found  Christmas is already on its way in. Having grown up with icy, cold winters, even after all these years, it's still strange to shop for holiday gifts when it's so sunny and warm. This is my favorite time of year here, but I still miss a white Christmas.

I thought I'd share this beautiful little butterfly with you. I found her resting in my garden, enjoying the greenery and cooler air. Can't say I blame her, fall is one of my favorite seasons too.

Well, hello there. Looks like things are finally up and running around here. I'd intended to have more than a brief note to share with you, but I've been making a few more changes to the blog and Etsy shop and got distracted.
